Vietnam South China SeaProlific Nudis & Flatworms (one after the other) at 25-40 mtrs. Extreme thermoclines as temperature constantly shifts 5-10 degrees with normal temp at 23-26 celsius. Visibility on a good day at 15-25 mtrs. Surface conditions can be very rough and unpredictable underwater current starting after lunch. Beyond nudis, occasional Mantis shrimps, Octopus Vulgaris, Pufferfish big and small, Big Eye travelly and some schools of small fish.

Egypt Red SeaMax. depth 14m, 60min. journey
To enjoy the impressive abundance of fish, the best way is to surround the reef. On the east you find huge Stone coral formations, the west side is covered with mainly Acropora corals and Fire corals. You find big groups of Sweetlips, Bannerfishes and Butterflyfishes as well as frequently Eagle rays.

Portugal Atlantic (European coastal)This spot is located in the Total Protection Area of the Prof. Luiz Saldanha Marine Park (included in the Arrábida Natural Park). Any human activity is prohibited in the spot, diving included. However, special licenses are given for scientific purposes.
The area serves as a nursery for several species of fish which can be found in the Marine Park.

Fiji PacificUp to 8 species of Shark on one Dive, with thousands of fish in the water column,on a reef developed by Brandon Paige and Aquatrek, which once was barren but now restored to life, an amzing exhilirating dive with the occasional Tiger Shark appearance and plenty of Bull Sharks.
Two dives are done on the site, the 1st at 26m and the 2nd at 16-18m. You kneel behind the wall and watch as the Sharks are fed breakfast and Lunch by hand.

Mexico Gulf Of MexicoI was told the the dive guide that in the 4 years they had been diving the Playa del Carmen area that they had never had the opportunity to dive in the Bonefish shoals. They come together rarely and definately not in the numbers we dived in. At the bottom of the shoal the sunlight was blocked out by the number of fish. It was an experience like no other, with the bonefish parting infront of us and then coming back together behind us. We were cacooned in bonefish :-)
The shoal was at lest 10 metres deep and carpeted the entire seabed beneath us. The front edge of the shoal was like a wall of fish. We did 2 dives in the shoal. Aparently in the afternoon the dive guides went back to the shoal to dive and had bull sharks feeding on the bonefish.

Thailand Andaman SeaThis wreck is an old tin dredger, one of the several (now disused and sunk) scatter around west the coast line of Thailand. There is one I know of in Bang Tao Bay (Phuket), a very famous one the "Boonsung" off the coast of Bang Sak beach (North of Khao Lak) and the "Premchai 103" off the coast of Thab Lamu (south of Khao Lak). Local diving offers an amazing variety of marine life.
Accordingly, the choice between wide angle and macro is sometimes very hard.
Schools of Trevalleys and Yellowtail snapper obstract the view of the wreck at times while crabs, shrimps, nudis and other macro life is scattered all around.
