Underwater Photo Location: East Point (Curacao)

How Hot is this Dive Site? click a star to rate it
The east point of Curacao can only be reached by boat, and because of this the reefs are in excellent condition. As the tip of "East Point" is exposed to the open sea and prevailing winds the current can be quite strong, which is perfect for drift diving. Also due to these stronger currents the animals found here tend to be larger than those seen on the south coast of Curacao.
To reach the best dive spots takes about 1.5 hrs. in a boat from "Spanish Water" on the south coast. Currently the only operator making these trips on a regular basis is "Dive Charter Curacao", who also do trips to the "North Shore" and "West Point", for more information go to website
