Although they have very good vision  they perceive the world more through sound. The sound leaces their melon and returns to a branch of the auditory nerve on the jaw. This is not a sign of aggression. It just heard us. under permit

I Can Be Bigger | Freediving off the coast of Koh Tao we were incredibly lucky to be approached by a very inquisitive juvenile Whale Shark. We'd only been in the water for around 15 mins when it approached, and it stayed with us for 2 hours.
