This was our first return to the Caribbean following several trips to the South Pacific and Indian Ocean. To be honest, it was a little disappoiting compared to the Pacific.
Of course, Stingray City is a great dive and there were several turtle encounters, but there were NO sharks, few soft coral, and marginally healthy hard corals.
This is a good destination for new divers as there are few currents, enough animal life to keep it interesting, and very warm water; it was 86 degrees when we were there!

Kurt UlrichToward the end of a dive in Grand Cayman we were slowly making our way to the surface from the reeftop at approx 60 feet. This young green sea turtle swam 30 feet from the reef to check me out. Shot with a Canon A620 and an Ikelite DS50.
