Entered from speedboat into shallow, flat coral & sandy plateau. There is a beautiful coral garden that descends several meters towards a slope about 8 meters. From there, it slopes down to a wall at approximately 12 meters. The visibility is prime at this depth. The sealife ranges from macro species of nudibranch, soft coral crabs, occasional pygmy sea horse, sea cucumbers and anemone fish. The living soft coral is abundant, along with sponge coral & fan corals. I hired a private banca with a dive guide & instructor from Badian Island Resort on their days off. The owners of the resort do not like walk-in divers and require divers to stay at their resort to use their diving facility. But their dive staff is great. They know where to locate what you request, and are highly trained and safe.
