The Scripps Canyon is probably the most popular dive location in San Diego. An easy shore entry and short swim lead you to a 2000ft deep canyon. Steep walls lined with kelp, sheer drops, and a variety of sea life always make for an exciting dive. Jelly fish are common, Humbolt squid have been appearing the past couple season, and a White shark was recently spotted (although uncommon :).

Blue Heron Bridge is a Muck dive of the Intercoastal waterway in Palm Beach shores. Lots of creatures migrate using the Gulfstream current and stop here to mate and feed. It is a great for any king of underwater photography. During the winter we have seen flabellinas mating and at the begining of May frog fish are coming back in April we saw baby octopus getting bigger. In October families of Manatees came by. In september we saw schools of spotted eagles...Seahorses all year round. This site is magical and you better open your eyes because you never know what u are going to find. The access point is from shore at the beach but divers can also get dropped off by boat. Is best to dive one hr before hight tide since when the tide turns the current is very strong specially close to full and new moon and the water turns to liquid mud.

I spent a day with the Manatees in the Homosassa springs in Dec 2008. The water was a bit murky with alot of particles, but the manatees were friendly, up to a point that they came in and even hugs me :-)

This site is actually being built as a remnant of the Lost City of Atlantis, by the Neptune Society... and as weird as it sounds, it is a burial ground. You can have a plaque made to have put onto this amazing Lost city, and your ashes buried at sea - to be your home after life with all your fishy friends. It is beautiful! There are 2 ginormous Stone Lions with gates opening to structures. Its so cool.! That's where I want to be laid to rest..
