Boat entry, rough launches, lots of charters to choose from. Always early morning starts Selection of reefs: 2 mile, 5 mile, 7 mile and 9 mile - these are the distances from shore (boat ride). Varying depths, lots of variety of reefs, amazing marine life. Viz can be an issue as the current and swell can pick up considerably with changing winds etc., but always a challenge and lots of fun. Not for the faint-hearted.

A Cargo vessel that sank in 1976 carrying a cargo of cement. It can only be dived when the conditions are very calm. Beautiful dive with many fish and other forms of marine life.

The wreck of a cargo ship, it was carrying a cargo of cement when it went down in 1976. It is fairly shallow and can only be dived on calm days

Fairly flat, shallow reef, quite close inshore. only divable on calm days. Loads of schooling fish and the occasional Cracker and other predatory fish. The actual reef is fairly sparsely populated due to wave action.

A shore dive (or a boat dive) where you can dive with large numbers of broadnosed sevengill or cowsharks swimming amongst the giant kelp in about 12 meters of water. The sharks seem to be there all year round (with greater numbers in the summer months), swimming slowly and aimlessly in big circles and will approach very close to divers. They have been known to be aggresive to spearfishermen

Dived with "scubaadicts" - very professional outfit. Difficult diving, strong currents and rough seas big ocean swells. RIB launch through 3m surf was adventure in itself. Main purpose of dive was tiger sharks and although we sometimes had 7 round us up to 5m long, didn't get any decent shots

A group of three pinnacles rising to about 7m from the surface with spectacular walls dropping off to about 18m. Large redbait cover the shallow parts which attract a wide variety of fish. The reef is home to an abundant array of nudibranches, copepods, crayfish and octopus.
