Puerto del Carmen is a live fish tank! Just off the coast there are at least 10 different dive sites either by boat or beach with an amazing quantity of sealife- seahorses, felix the ginormous grouoer, cow breams, guelly jacks etc. for all levels, from 5m to 40, shipwrecks, drift dives and heaven for under water photographers.

The dive starts off easy, passing across lava made scenery, interspersed white sandy white areas, until at about 35-37 m you get to a wood of black coral. The few minutes allowed at that depth can be enough to experience the sensation of being there, with at least that much space underneath you, the incredible blue of the ocean, an occasional grouper or ray passing by.

El Poris is one of my favorite sites here in Tenerife, it has sandy arwas with garden eels, a wall with a lot of life, it is a teaching place for many diving schools, you may find rays, dentex, octopus, bastard grunts and all sorts of smaller fish. There is always something to see

At 2 minutes by boat from the harbor a wonderful site with huge rays, a bank of bastards grunts, trumpet fish, glass eyes, tiger and normal eals, a site full of life.

This reef is very broad. 3 Dives spots are available on it. -"The chiminea", an open cave, 20 meters deep, eastern part of the reef. -"los escalones" cliff between 29 and 36 meters with a lot of moray eel and big groupers, south an north east of the reef -"la baliza" wreck of different firelight around 12 meters deep to 28 meters with a big shoal of barracudas, south of the reef
