This is a dramatic site with two walls. The first one ends in a sand patch at approximately 90 feet. The second goes well beyond the recreational dive limits. Fish and corals are plentiful here, and the top of the reef features a sand patch that is good for open water classes. Rays and turtles are often seen here. Unfortunately, we saw three lion fish here yesterday (November 2009).

There is a small wall that goes to about 65 feet, then a sandy area with a coral encrusted BBQ grill and a small wreck. Most divers stay shallower than he wreck; however, it's possible to do a deep dive here by continuing past the wreck. The bottom slopes gradually past the wreck to depths in excess of 130 feet (my personal max depth on this site). In addition to the regular gang of reef fish, both adults and juveniles, we often see spotted eagle rays, large green morays, and turtles here. I've also seen seahorses and a toad fish at this site. Dolphins regularly pass through.

Both male and female sailfins are located on the sandy bottom near the hang line in 20-25 feet of water. These tiny blennies are shy and require patience if you want to see them fully emerge from their holes. The male's performance with sailfin up lasts only a couple of seconds. His movement is fast so using a high shutter speed is necessary to stop the action.

Nice little dive site just off the shore of Laguna Beach Resort. Several entry points from the shore. The proximity to the lagoon with murky water can effect the visibily but increases the likelihood to spot special marine life like eagle rays or yellow stingrays. Nice hard coral wall with several cracks, dropping from 3-4m down to 20m+. Toadfish, green moray, sharp nose puffer, schools of Blue Tang, different angelfish, occasional pelagics like jacks or palometa. Several cleaning stations in the shallow.
