This site has a few sunken barges (almost completely disintegrated) but the quarry made a lot of gravel that sits on the bottom. Vis usually better here than a lot of neighboring sites. Not a lot of life but enough to make for 1 good dive.

Very long surface swim out to the dive bouy, but well worth it. Lots of rock fish, lingcod, and other life to observe on the artificial reef.

Shore dive temperate water. Mostly sandy bottom with ledges going down into the canyon. Some growth along the edges and at the point into the canyon. Visibility varies from 3 feet up to 30 feet depending on the surf. Small life with octopus small fish and nudibranchs. Easy entry when the surf is small and lots of beginner classes during the weekends. Parking and has restrooms. Get there early during the summer for parking. Wet suit 7mm or drysuit if you get cold easy. Water temperature summer 70 on the surface to 60 at depth, winter 57 surface to 52 depth.

First dive for me at this park. Visibility was very bad. Did not see much in the way of fish, but lots of crab and Giant Plumose Anemone. I probably will not dive here again.
