Young male elephant seals during molting season are having a discussion over space. Elephant seals spend 80% of their lives at sea. They come out of the water to breed, give birth and molt.

Fisheye pro and con/The pro of using the fish-eye-- you get nice wide angle shots like this... The con, at least for surf shots, is that you have to get really close to the rider to get decent shots...This is pro-surfer Pat O'Connell...

This shot was taken in about 30' of water off the shore of Anacapa island near Ventura. Anacapa is one of the northern channel islands.With my SEA & Sea DX-8000G and YS-120 strobe. Let me know what you think.
