Kaleidoscopic image created from a shot of a blue dragon nudibranch.
"Smooth Ray Smile". Was free diving with this beautiful creature a couple of weeks ago - incredibly inquisitive! Despite their reputation they're gentle giants - every time I dived down to take a photo it would swim over the top of me.

I am relatively new to this so here is my first pic! This was shot at Wakatobi, Indonesia, Jan 12 as I started to head toward the surface. No strobes were used.

"Dragon in light".
Juvenile horned cow fish
Snorkeling around the Famous Jellyfish Lake in Palau .
"Short Tail Weedy Seadragon". This weedy seadragon has had its tail bitten off by something when it was younger but that hasn't stopped it successfully breeding - its eggs have all hatched but you can still see where they were attached.

Sea Snake...Puerto Galera, Philippines
4-mm Flambellina bicolor. 40 to 60 feet, Reef's End, Mololokini crater, Maui, Hawaii. Nikon 105-mm with SubSea 5X.
Very small, 3-mm, member of the Hypselodoris sp. Nikon 105 mm and SubSea 5X. Couldn't get closer due to coral overhang. Sponge began "reaching out'' and touching the nudi with long tendrils. The one directly below eventually crossed the nudi.
Gentle Giant - taken while free diving. Smooth Rays can grow to 4.3 meters long and 2.1 meters wide and 350 kg but are incredibly inquisitive animals. This one played with me for almost 25 minutes - and was as interactive as a puppy!
