Beautiful Tulum Beach in the Yucatan - Pelicans fished throughout the day but were seen most frequently in the hour before sunset. The size of the birds makes them relatively easy to photograph, although fading light makes it harder to "freeze" them

This is my second photo of the seals on the wharf. I went back 2 weeks later to see if they were still there, and to my surprise, there they were. Watching them crawl across each other was hysterical.

An incredibly lucky day whale watching in Monterey Bay. We followed a group of killer whales who were teaching their calf to hunt sea lions in the bay. Amongst other behaviours that we witnessed, there was frequent breaching.
