Member since: Saturday, March 18, 2017 | I am a young Mexican filmmaker, photographer and journalist based in Brooklyn with an immense passion for the ocean. Underwater photography has been a vessel towards creating conscience about the environment and open up this mysterious and fantastic world to non-divers. I use photography and journalism to explore not only nature, but also as a tool to reach out to people with the power of storytelling. I received my B.A in International Relations from the prestigious Mexican university Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) in 2016 and have done extensive research on the Mexican government security policy towards drug trafficking. I have also published articles in newspapers about the upcoming elections in the United States and the importance of the latino vote.
