Member since: Sunday, November 14, 2004 | I was born and raised on the Texas coast and have lived in Austin, Texas since 1974. I have been photographing underwater since 1995, and have used a Nikonos V and a Nikon N50 in an Ikelite Housing. I recently purchased a 5 megapixel Olympus C50Z with an Olympus housing, and am amazed at the vivid colors and detail this tiny digital camera is capable of capturing. My most memorable underwater photography experience was a night dive at the Bonaire Town Pier. I love macro photography and the Town Pier was full of small sea creatures. I also paint marine life and tropical subjects in watercolors.
