In the Jackson's Bight portion of the Little Cayman protected marine park. The reef has a gentle slope to a drop-off. There are many sand grooves to explore. Known for many huge (6 ft) barrel sponges rising haphazardly from the sand between the shoreward mini-wall and the reef crest. You might see: Blacktip sharks (on occasion), Caribbean Reef sharks, Eagle Rays, big-eyed squirrelfish, lobsters and a variety of blennies and gobies.

Little Cayman, Northside of island. Bloody Bay Wall A good afternoon dive site. This site has a mini-wall at a depth of 30 feet and a main wall at 60 feet. The most dramatic feature is a 6 foot stand of Pillar Coral rising up from the hardpan. You can't miss it. the site has several large fingers and canyons. A lot to see at 50'-60'. What you might see: Turtles, Stingrays, Angelfish (Gray, Queen and French), Parrotfish, juvelines of all sorts.

Bus Stop is in Little Cayman. Northside. There is a sand shoot which takes you down into a dark tunnel that elbows and then deposits you into the deep blue at 100 feet. You might see a passing Eagle Ray, Turtle or Shark. The deep portions of the wall are dominated by large barrel sponges, whip corals and tube sponges. The mooring is shallow and will display colorful schooling reef fish, Blue Chromis. Check the sponges for goby cleaner shrimp. Watch for crinoids and arrow crabs.

Both male and female sailfins are located on the sandy bottom near the hang line in 20-25 feet of water. These tiny blennies are shy and require patience if you want to see them fully emerge from their holes. The male's performance with sailfin up lasts only a couple of seconds. His movement is fast so using a high shutter speed is necessary to stop the action.
