United States PacificThis is an open ocean dive..... while it's not a specific dive site i feel its more than worth mentioning here. This dive can be done pretty much anywhere you are able to dive over many thousands of feet of water. In this case we dive 3 miles off the Kona coast. A large population of deep sea creatures migrate to the surface at night, where we then go out and dive it around 10:00 PM. We jump in using tethers attatched to the boat and us, and drift for about an hour. And watch the strange things drift by in the night. Big Island Divers offers this trip and they are phenomenal and knowledgeable. This dive isn't for everyone, but for a diver with an adventurous streak this is a most do.

Mexico Caribbean SeaOne of the best dive sites in the meso-American reef system. Easy to dive, lots of marine life, and about 40 feet max depth. A great place for newbies & expert divers.

Mauritius Indian OceanA small wreck which protects loads of small fishes..... and again these small fishes attract bigger fish like kingfish, small tuna, etc... groupers and a lot of lionfish.....

Mexico Caribbean SeaGreat, great location - can be difficult, but lots of big marine life and very active. Can be some strong drift.

Seychelles Indian OceanThere was lots of damage to the coral (coral bleaching) several years ago, but the diving is still very good. I even had the extreme pleasure of being able to swim with Whale Sharks!

Indonesia Banda SeaIncredible dive site! About a 30/40 minute boat ride west of the Wakatobi dive resort. A sloping wall with tons of soft corals,nudibranchs,clown fish,scorpion fish. The wall starts in about 8 ft of water (depending on the tides) and slopes down to 130'+ which made safety stops some of the best diving around.

Ecuador PacificAn out-post for diving if not a mecca! fantastic Sharks Hammerheads, Silky's Galapagos and white tips, Also we was accompanied by Dolphins on every dive, also can be seen is seal an sea lions amoungst many other smaller fish including Jacks, Yello Fin Tuna, we saw in the distance a sail fish as well. It is expensive for us Brits to get there, but well worth the money.

Dominican Republic Caribbean SeaMy first dive in Dominican Republic. Was very impressed as I do not see this country and its diving featured in the diving publications very often, if at all.
I could have stayed on this one wall we did all day long, but air and playing follow the leader wouldn't let me. Great coral along wall shots possible, definitely would go back and plan dives and photography for this location again. Welcome comments from others that have dived Dominican Republic.
