A simple immersion leaving from earth I found them full of rocks that degrades slowly until to one wide sand zone where it is possible to meet several species of fish between which this copy of Gobius cruentatus hidden under one cliff.

Closest site to my hometown and we mostly visit it when the nytrogen crisis attacks. Except in may when there are plenty of seahorses (mating probably, altough I've never seen any action or "pregnant" males.

Perhaps the most exciting dive site is the wreck of a German support ship, the KT 12, which sank in World War II and is one of the best preserved wrecks in the whole mediterranean sea.

I like much this wreck and I made many dives here like a guide. History: a german ship that in its first trip to Africa was sinked by the english U- boat Safari. A torpedo hit the prow. Now the wreck is like in navigation.

We dived with Diving Nettuno click here and stayed on their campsite. The view from our window was stupendous! It's a small site and, like many in Italy, has its own beach. There's nothing regimented, no marked pitches, and the owner (Mauro) zips around on his scooter like a demented Marx brother! At peak holiday times it gets crowded but you all squeeze in. Everyone's friendly.

From Palau, with Nautilus Dive Center, we dived at a few sites, Washington, Lavezzi (France), Caprera. Great diving with fans, fish and great macro. The Nereo Cave, is a huge marine cave under the high limestone cliffs of Capo Caccia.
The cave is considered the bigger marine cave of all the Med Sea. With the many entrance, archs and tunnels, itis possible to make an astonishing dive from 0 to 35 mt.
The blue effects of the many entrance give to the video and film photographer, incredible chance. The roofs covered of red coral and yellow leptosamnia full of color any picture.
Thanks to the many canyons and the many other caves, all the area around permit to make more than 20 different dives in only 150 mt of coast line.
The place infact is considered one of the Mediterranean Sanctuary for divers, biologist, photographer and the wild lover.
With the other cape of Punta Giglio and the Porto Conte Bay, who are now Marine reserve from the 2003, there is the choice to dive in more of other 30 caves, and a lot of caverns.
All around the tipical mediterranean flora and fauna, with groupers, lobsters, congers and moray heels and a lot of colored incrustation life.
